A flagship project, one of the largest brownfield regeneration projects in the UK with around 3,400 houses and 3 million sq feet of employment space.
- Development land and the remediation strategy are fully integrated within a holistic landscape design. Major new landforms are generated through the remediation process and used to form extensive recreation spaces wrapped around development areas.
- Areas of Ancient Woodland are incorporated into the housing areas and a comprehensive network of pedestrian and cycle links has been developed throughout the site.
- Land drainage is retained on the surface to create landscape settings for the development and improve the ecological amenity of the area.
