DETAILED G.I.S MAPPING USED TO DEVELOP MASTERPLAN

Tiddenfoot Waterside Park and Linslade Wood, Beds.

Tiddenfoot Waterside Park and Linslade Wood required a flexible landscape masterplan for this important area of greenspace. Stakeholder engagement was a key part of the process.

  • Production of conceptual and detailed landscape masterplan for two areas of countryside encompassing 48ha (118 acres)  of the Ouzel Valley Park on the edge of Leighton Buzzard and Linslade.
  • The robust masterplan provided flexibility for the Council to respond to an increasingly changing cycle of development in the area.
  • Services included surveys and a detailed audit and mapping of assets using G.I.S.
  • Extensive engagement with key stakeholders, including presentation of draft masterplan to target groups, achieved consensus despite competing aspirations from different parts of the community.
