At the core of land use planning is the efficient and effective use of resources, of land in particular. A sustainable approach to resources is imperative. Cass Associates, over the past 20 years, has promoted sustainability in the widest sense. This work has been based on a thorough understanding of development economics weighed against a wide range of environmental design, and social considerations. The Practice is well placed to reconcile the different pressures presented by these fundamental planning issues. It takes a lead role in managing development projects, co-ordinating and deploying the skills and experience of other professionals when they are needed. In this way an all-embracing service is offered, bringing together diverse skills in an integrated way.

The Practice is involved in a wide range of planning based projects. The spectrum of work ranges from residential, commercial and leisure development to regeneration strategies and complex mixed-use schemes.
