Everton Park, Liverpool

This new 40ha park provides a major new piece of greenspace in a previously derelict, run-down part of the city. It provides an important amenity for thousands of local people, including a sports centre, an Events Area and Nature Gardens and has transformed the character of the local area. Activities in much of the park are intended to evolve over time within the maturing landscape.
