The Stonebridge project will have a major impact on the economic, social and environmental performance of the A580 Strategic Investment Area and is one of the most important regeneration projects in Liverpool . The Cass Associates masterplan proposes up to 32,000 square metres of new employment-based development, together with the creation of a 1.5km long high quality 'boulevard' approach into the city from the M57 motorway, and a new, community-based linear park. The complex planning, design and implementation programme addresses major hydrological and ecological issues, and will be carried out over a three year period.
