Studio Cass is a new architecture and design service, created as a specialist division of award-winning Cass Associates, offering expert and bespoke professional advice tailored specifically for the private householder.
Developing or extending our home may be the largest single investment made in a lifetime and it is essential to avoid the many pitfalls of development to achieve a successful and valuable outcome.
We recognise that the approach required for private domestic projects differs significantly from that for business and have structured the services provided by Studio Cass accordingly, whilst being able to call on the experience of over 30 years in practice and 1000 completed projects.
To simply the process for clients we are able to offer a full one-stop-shop service if required utilising the services of our talented in-house specialists – incorporating not only architectural design and project management services but also expert planning guidance, landscape architecture and ecology services, depending on the needs of individual clients.
Richard Roberts is a registrant on the RIBA Conservation Register of architects suitably qualified to work on historic buildings.
Our initial consultation is always without charge or obligation and we will always confirm in writing the services and associated fees agreed with you before proceeding.
Studio Cass Team
We offer a highly personalised and friendly service. All Studio Cass projects are led from inception to completion by Richard Roberts, an architect, urban designer and Partner at Cass Associates. Richard will remain the key client contact throughout.
Richard is assisted by a dedicated team of architects, landscape architects and planning consultants who are able to offer high quality advice and design expertise as and when required by each project, ensuring a seamless, cost effective service without the ‘responsibility gaps’ and co-ordination issues of employing a range of different consultants and specialists.

Efficient sustainable design is central to much of our work and we are members of the Green Register of Construction Professionals and the Association of Environmentally Conscious Builders (AECB). As a practice we have extensive expertise in delivering sustainable solutions and are happy to provide no obligation advice as to how best to create an energy-efficient, environmentally friendly eco home.
