Dargavel Village has been judged to be a winner in the ‘place’ category of the Scottish Awards for Quality in Planning 2018. Cass Associates has taken the lead role in the planning and masterplanning of this development which is destined to deliver over 4000 homes alongside a rich network of support infrastructure.

The view of the Judges is that Dargavel Village represents an ‘impressive example of housing delivery at force’, where there has been an ‘infrastructure first approach to the creation of a new village community’.

Particular praise is given to the use of design codes (produced by Cass Associates), the long term vision for this growth area and a commitment from the delivery team to work closely with Renfrewshire Council and the local community.
