A landmark project, working with The National Trust to develop the Aira Force waterfalls and surrounding landscape into a world-class visitor destination.
- A wide ranging masterplan was developed and implemented, providing new entrances, improved car parking, a new visitor ‘welcome’ building, tree planting and a network of new footpaths offering panoramic views over the Ullswater Valley.
- The dramatic landscape, lake shore meadows, open parkland and falls attract up to 200,000 visitors a year.
